This month’s release ships two features aimed squarely at teams running increasingly complex, multi-agent support operations: native interoperability with external agent systems, and full visibility into what each conversation actually costs to run.

Agent-to-Agent Protocol Support

As more of our customers’ own tech stacks include agents beyond this platform — an internal fraud-review agent, a logistics partner’s automated tracking system — the need for standardized agent-to-agent communication has become concrete rather than theoretical. This release adds native support for the emerging cross-vendor agent interoperability protocol, letting your the platform agent hand off structured requests to and receive structured responses from compatible external agents, rather than relying on brittle custom API glue for each integration.

This addresses a pattern we described back in July’s piece on coordinating specialized agents: the orchestration challenge doesn’t stop at the boundary of a single vendor’s product.

Cost Dashboards

Following requests from teams managing the small-model-first routing patterns we wrote about in May, this release adds a real-time cost dashboard showing per-conversation and per-intent-category inference spend, broken down by which model tier handled each turn.

The dashboard also surfaces cost trends over time per category — a category whose cost is creeping upward week over week, even if still within an acceptable absolute range, is often an early signal of routing drift worth investigating before it becomes a larger problem.

Also in This Release

The Escalation Matrix editor now supports version history and rollback, so a threshold change that performs worse in production can be reverted without reconstructing the previous configuration from memory — a direct response to feedback from teams doing frequent matrix iteration as part of the monthly review cadence we’ve recommended throughout this year’s coverage.

Availability

Agent-to-Agent Protocol support is available now on Enterprise plans. Cost Dashboards are available on all paid plans starting this week.
